Digital Architect

KONGSBERG is seeking talented individuals to help us drive digital innovation in the Maritime industry. We are in the search for an Architect/Senior Developer who will be a driver in shaping the newly established Digital Office, delivering Applications and Platform software for the Digital business area across KONGSBERG’s portfolio of world class products for the Maritime industry.

As the ideal candidate, you will take lead on principals/guidelines that will be our success in creating digital products for Kongsberg Maritime. You will be a part of a dynamic team working closely with the product owners, the delivery organization and development teams to bring our digital vision to life.

Responsibilities

• Software Architecture and system design, vision thinking
• Database Administration and optimization
• Interfaces to Control systems, cloud services and end-users
• Analysis of factors influencing the architectures
• Interactions between development, stakeholders, and the organization

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Programming or Cybernetics or other marine technical field. Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications
• General good knowledge around Modelling (ISAQB Certification or Unified Modelling Language)
• Expertise in one or more common programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.)
• Familiar with software architecture, AWS, applications development, database design, cloud solutions and Azure DevOps
• Good communication skills
