Responsibilities
Working as UX Designer you will be designing user and customer experience following our best practices and design methodologies
Core responsibilities for the role include:
· User research: Discovering users and business needs by conducting user research, analyzing user needs and behaviors to meet user expectations and design goals, usability, and accessibility requirements for digital products and services.
· Problem solving and design thinking: Leading design thinking processes to solve the right problems in the right way, empathizing with users, challenging assumptions, redefining problems, and creating innovative solutions to prototype and test in an iterative way; being an advocate of the methodology and infusing it in all project activities.
· Prototyping: Translating conceptual ideas from user research into interactive prototypes and applying the iterative design process to enhance user experience and satisfaction;
running design-measure-learn loops to develop digital products from the conceptual phase, throughout MVP to the mature
· Creating wireframes and prototypes: Defining and evaluating wireframes and recommending designs including intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that consider ergonomics, interaction, navigation, and accessibility principles. Creating interactive prototypes for testing and visualizing the implementation.
· Information architecture: Designing the structure and organization of content to ensure easy access to information and intuitive navigation.
· Usability testing and validation: Conducting usability tests, shadowing user behaviors, and gathering feedback to understand how real users interact with the solution. Using both qualitative and quantitative methods of measuring user experience. Continuously improve the user experience and make changes based on user testing results.
· Design system compliance: Maintaining consistency with the company Design System, adapting the interface to brand guidelines and visual identity; all with suitable images, typography, space, hierarchy, layout, and color in alignment with the Design System.
· Continuous improvement and data driven design: Seeking new ways to enhance user experience, design working processes, and product usability through data analysis and user feedback.
Digital departament at TechnipFMC is a highly collaborative environment. You will be working with a variety of different disciplines, types of stakeholders, and co-workers. Your daily work will involve collaboration within multidisciplinary agile teams where collaboration and communication is a key attribute contributing to the team’s success.
While working with product development team members (Product owner, designer, software developers, data scientists, platform technicians) you will:
· Work closely with developers, data analysts, and other members of the product team to ensure technical feasibility including consistency and effectiveness. Conduct design review, handover for implementation, and supervise the implementation quality and compliance with UX standards.
· Liaise with product owners and managers to align business viability and user desirability of solutions.
· Communicate with business stakeholders to understand their perspectives and priorities for the products
· Talk to end-users of systems, products & services - solutions
· Talk to customers and partners when applicable
· Present solutions and their considerations to the departmental management, VP & C-level leadership when applicable

Skills


Qualifications and skills
Core qualifications required for this position:
· Relevant degree User Experience, Interaction Design, Psychology, or equivalent experience as a UX designer.
· Minimum 3 years in relevant role (Mid position)
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role (Senior role)
· Problem-solving skills and ability to challenge the status quo; drive to seek the right problems and right solutions
· Practical knowledge and deep understanding of design methodologies: Design Thinking, Lean UX, User Centric Design; being up to date with current trends and best practices
· Experience in scoping, planning, conducting, and analyzing user research and usability studies
· Nice to have experience in data-driven UX, UX metrics, and analytics
· Knowledge of Figma and proficiency in building usable, visually appealing wireframes and prototypes for both different platforms
· Be fluent in interaction design, creating usable user interfaces
· Understanding of accessibility and how it impacts design
· Attention to detail and drive to create the best experience possible
· Experience in using and deep understanding of Design Systems
· Experience in working in an agile team-oriented environment
· Experience and understanding of Agile methodology including Scrum
· Ability to align various stakeholders around concepts, ideas, input to roadmaps, value & outcome, etc.
· Great communication skills and ability to lead discussions with different types of stakeholders: users, business representatives, software developers, product managers, senior managers
· Excellent command of verbal and written English
