An incredible opportunity awaits you as R&D Engineer in our Resilient Navigation team in the Seatex division at Kongsberg Discovery in Trondheim. In Seatex, we develop and produce world class products for positioning, navigation and communication comprising GNSS, Inertial, Radar and electrooptical sensors and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Development of navigation algorithms for resilient navigation.
  • Conduct sensor fusion.
  • Software development.


Qualifications and experience

  • Master of Science in Cybernetics or equivalent.
  • Experience from software development projects, inertial sensors development or GNSS algorithms development.
  • Knowledge about C/C++, Python, Linux, real-time systems, Azure DevOps.
  • Self-driven, structured and analytic approach.
  • Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  • Teamworking skills.
