Centric is a European IT outsourcing company that provides IT specialists to businesses and organizations in both the public and private sectors. Centric is growing rapidly in Bergen at its new office in Media City and is hiring talented developers and data scientists to join our team. 

Arbeidsoppgaver

As a data scientist at Centric, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and providing actionable insights that drive business decisions for our customers.
Typical responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data models and algorithms to analyze large data sets
  • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to identify trends and patterns
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address business problems
  • Monitor and evaluate model performance and iterate to make improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science techniques and programming

Ønskede kvalifikasjoner

  • A higher education degree
  • 3+ years of experience in data science or related field
  • Proficient in Python, R, or another programming language commonly used in data science
  • Experience with database management
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with APIs and web scrapping
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
