The Norwegian Red Cross is part of the Red Cross Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement, the world’s largest humanitarian network with millions of volunteers operating in over 190 countries. The RCRC Movement’s mission is to alleviate human suffering, protect life and health, and uphold human dignity especially during armed conflicts and other emergencies. The Norwegian Red Cross works internationally in approximately 20 countries, focussing on health, wash and protection in conflicts and protracted crises. This role is placed in the International Programs and Preparedness department, serving our international operations and country and regional offices abroad.
This role is at the heart of Norwegian Red Cross mission to drive digital transformation across our global activities. As the person responsible for our international digitalization efforts, you’ll also take on the pivotal role of Product Owner for PIMS (Project Information Management System)—our central document repository and project database. Your work will directly impact how we use technology to work more intelligently, streamline collaboration with partners, and push the boundaries of digital tools to strengthen humanitarian action.
In this role, you will also oversee initiatives aimed at improving data quality, information management and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to be a catalyst for impactful change, using digital solutions to enhance our global humanitarian efforts.

The Senior Advisor Digital Developments has the responsibility to coordinate the efforts within digitalisation and better use of data, in addition to being Product Owner for the primary digital tool (PIMS) supporting Norwegian Red Cross’ international activities. This includes to:
- Bachelor degree within relevant field (e.g. )
- 4 years of experience from relevant/similar work including digital project management
- Advanced knowledge of IT tools (Sharepoint-based applications, MS Suite, )
