We are looking for an experienced and motivated FPGA Principal Engineer to lead FPGA development at Ocean Technologies, a division in Kongsberg Discovery. This role involves strategic responsibility across our product portfolio, where FPGA plays a crucial role.
Kongsberg Discovery serves the ocean space from the deepest sea to the outer space. We develop technology to ensure sustainable management of marine resources, monitor climate change and critical infrastructure, and safeguard national security. In addition to having a key technical role in Ocean Technologies, you will be part of the Mapping team, where we develop a range of echosounders used to map the shallowest rivers to the deepest oceans.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in FPGA development, especially in VHDL. You have a good system understanding and the ability to choose the right technology and balance hardware and software to create the best solutions.
