Looking for an exciting challenge as a data engineer? Join us at Statnett and help us revolutionize how power system analysts use data to maximize the utilization of the grid.
Statnett has established a cross-disciplinary product team whose objective is to empower analyst by making it much easier to find and use power system data. While we have other teams creating and owning data, this team combines this data to a one-stop-shop for power system data. Now we want to strengthen this team. This is where you come in!
As a data engineer in our contextualized power system data team, you will make our power system data immediately accessible and useful for power system analysts. For example, the graph model describing the power system is very complex, consisting of millions of triplets and hundreds of data-classes. In addition, the analysts want to combine the model with other information, such as more than 100 000 sensors around the power grid. By offering an intuitive Python SDK and a hassle-free runtime environment we have already started on our mission to lower the user threshold for domain experts who now can query data in a much more intuitive way. We encourage you to read this blog post to learn more of what the team do.
You'll join an empowered, skilled, and dedicated team of nearly ten people, and a professional community within our Data Engineering section with about 10 employees. The Data Engineering section is part of the Digital Foundation and Data department, with about 40 information architects, data scientists, data engineers, and experts in geographic information systems. You'll work with a curious and ambitious team, with innovative technology and on prioritized use-cases.
At Statnett, we value our employees and offer competitive terms and a highly competent professional community. If you have a passion for data and want to help build the world's most powerful self-driving machine, apply today!
