Local Unit & Position Description:
To support Energy Systems in achieving its strategic ambitions our Finance & Performance (F&P) function is set-up to enable our organization to become future proof and financial fit. The global F&P function consists of three teams:
- The regional F&P function that supports the Advisory & Verification Region or a Global Business Unit
- The Business Area F&P Centre of Expertise
- The Global Contracting function
The F&P function aims to be a globally consistent organization, with specialized finance roles, reporting lines which are centralized within the regional finance organization and thereby increasing our financial competence. We are working to increase use of modern, up-to-date technology to support manual and time-consuming task and free up time to support growth and profitability initiatives. Furthermore, we have a global contracting function with specialized contract management roles and increased legal & contracting competence to support our business.
To achieve the strategy for the global F&P function we need highly qualified Finance Performance professionals who will help us become successful. Our BA Centre of Expertise is seeking a Finance Transformation PM to be part of our team.
The Finance Transformation PM is part of the Global Governance & Performance team and reports to the Head of Global Governance & Performance. The Finance Transformation PM has deep understanding of the topics finance transformation, tools and technology, and is essential in identifying and driving the development of a future fit way of working with the finance function. The person has excellent project management and communication skills, and thrives when having a variety of topics on the agenda.
Primary tasks of this role:
- Develop and maintain overview of the end-to-end data flow from a finance perspective
- Establish and maintain network of business partners from the Energy Systems regions and GBUs to identify improvements and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Identify, define and develop automation deliverables, solutions and tools relevant for the finance data flows, using up-to-date technology such as artificial intelligence etc.
- Follow up on automation deliverables incl. up-to-date timeline, including liaising with key partners involved in the end-to-end data flow, such as Salesforce, Teamcenter, Oracle, Finance BI, and other IT teams
- Provide regular status update of automation deliverables
- Flag any risks relating to the timeline
- Cooperate closely with the Global Process Owners about decisions that needs to be made on the process, documentation need and approach for implementation
- Cooperate closely with the ICFR Manager to develop efficient tools and solutions for follow up of ICRF key control execution
- Cooperate closely with the Global Analyst, and contribute in developing and building data models and reports for global use
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business/Finance/IT or equivalent
- Excellent process and technical system understanding
- Some years of relevant work experience with Oracle Finance and/or Teamcenter is preferable
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex projects with many stakeholders and shifting deadlines
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Power BI
- Experience interacting with international stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable working as part of a global and multi-cultural team
