Job Description


Your role:

  • Join the team in the journey of establishing daily data reconciliation routines at the start of each business day.
  • Monitor, analyze, and visualize data quality for external sourced market data in our EDM system.
  • Review and operationalize customer data business requests.
  • Improve current process structure.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team of various data stewards from different domains, data custodians and key stakeholders from IT.
  • Ensure that data usage and management protocols are within license requirements and legal and company standards.
  • Understand and actively manage cross dependencies in EDM to avoid disruptive changes.
  • Establish data standards and manage data definitions and meta data.
  • Reinforce an experienced team with new innovative ideas.
  • Apply best practices when storing, organizing, cleaning, and mining data, and ensuring the capture, report and follow up on any missing data from our data providers.
  • You will be working in compensated early morning shifts (5-8 am).
  • Some travelling between Düsseldorf and Oslo is expected.



Qualifications


Your profile:

  • Relevant education and work experience in the area of Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Willingness to work in compensated early morning shifts (5-8 am).
  • Good understanding of trading environments and the basic mechanics of financial instruments.
  • Strong analytical skills and a commercial mind set.
  • Fluent in English (language skills in Norwegian are an advantage).
  • Knowledge in SQL and/or PowerBI is an advantage.
  • Experience with data management and market data in commodity markets is an advantage. Good understanding of data, data structures & data storage.
  • Proactive and independent way of working.
  • Reliable team player with excellent communication skills.
