Now we are looking for two Backend Developers
About the role
As a Backend Developer at Legentic, you and your team will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. You will be engaged in developing innovative products. This include:
- Creating effective backend infrastructure and processes to manage large amounts of data and requests
- Working on our internal, event-driven pipeline, to support additional data processing
- Support and helping out on UI elements
- Design and support new product developments
About you
We are looking for generalists rather than single stack specialists, with a demonstrated ability and passion for learning. Our skilled and courageous people tackle interesting problems on a daily basis, and now we need Backend Developers in the range from junior to senior.
You are good at expressing your thoughts both written and verbally. You listen to and appreciate opposing viewpoints and feel comfortable working with a multicultural, distributed team.

Qualifications
The qualifications vary depending on the level of the position.
- A couple of years of Python experience
- Sharing a GitHub profile with projects is a big plus
- Knowledge of tools such as OpenSearch, ClickHouse, DynamoDB, or Cassandra
- Experience in working with AWS or other cloud vendors
- Experience working with container orchestration technologies (e.g. Kubernetes)
Experience using a web framework like FastAPI - Experience working in event-driven architectures
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Optional
• Knowledge of a second programming language
• BSc or MSc in computer science, data science, engineering, or a similar discipline
• Experience with data pipelines is a plus
