We pride us self by being Well Control Center of Excellence. For decades we have been recognized for our industry standard, well control simulation software Drillbench. Drillbench provides a better understanding of the well margins and well control risks during all phases of the operation. Relying on a dynamic multiphase flow simulator to combine temperature and an advanced fluid model, we can replicate real-world drilling operations. This insight is crucial in protecting our environment and personnel involved in the operation.

As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with talented individuals to create innovative applications that address critical safety and environmental challenges. Essential responsibilities and duties

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and domain experts, to develop and deliver software solutions that enhance safety and protect the environment.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications, adhering to coding standards and industry best practices.
  • Take ownership of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Inspire team members through your dedication to building high-quality software, leading by example, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Ensuring that diverse perspectives are valued, and actively contribute to a respectful and collaborative work environment.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve software performance, usability, and reliability, striving for excellence in all aspects of the development process.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency in software development.


Qualification and experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • The role demands a solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Fluently in English, written and oral – Norwegian is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as .Net C# or Javascript/Typescript.
