Subsea offers solutions, products, and services for Subsea Oil & Gas projects, such as:
production systems, processing, boosting & compression, power distribution, intervention & workover systems, and tools & subsea life cycle services.
We are now looking for a Chief Data Architect who wants to join our team and who can strengthen our capabilities.
What will you be doing?
- Developing and implementing an enterprise data architecture for the Subsea segment
- Acting as a matrix leader (not personnel responsible) for Data Architects, Data Analysts and Digital Analysts who are working on various projects in global teams
- Leading the data modeling, design and documentation for all data and analytics initiatives within the Subsea segment
- Ensuring the integration and compatibility of all data platforms within the Subsea segment
- Developing and maintaining data standards for data governance, master data management, privacy and quality control
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, data analysts, and data scientists to understand data requirements and design data solutions that meet business needs
- Developing and implementing data integration and ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow between different systems and data sources, including Aker Solutions' proprietary systems and external partners
- Monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the data and analytics capabilities of the Subsea segment
- Collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to develop and execute the data strategy for the Subsea segment
We think you should have:
- Higher education degree required; Preferred MBA and/ or MS degree in related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years’ experience in data architecture, database design, data warehousing, and ETL development
- Experience with operational technology (OT) data/environments, digital twins, and working in an EPC project-based industrial environment is seen as an advantage
- Strong experience with data modeling, data integration, and data management tools and technologies
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Azure data in support of global business operations
- Understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc. in alignment with Aker Solutions' compliance policies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
