This position is in the Digital/DataOps function. DataOps is responsible for operationalizing the vision and strategy for data and information governance and management within Aker BP, enabling the "data as an asset" vision and our ambition is to be recognized as a best-in-class competence center driving innovative use of data throughout the Aker BP enterprise ecosystem. Together with It & Cyber Security, the Digital Transformation. Program Eureka and Enterprise Architecture are the building blocks of the Digital corporate function in Aker BP.

The position is in the Document & Content Management team in DataOps/Data Operations and Improvement. The team is responsible for advising and supporting the business in handling business critical = valuable documents and content through the lifecycle, with focus on processes, tools, and information objects. Teams/SharePoint is used for collaboration while D2 is the company official document handling system.


Typical tasks will include:

  • Advise and support within
  • Document & content management in general
  • Retrieval of documents
  • Use of DMS (Document Management System) functionality for
    • Capture, organize, store, maintain and dispose documents and content
    • Quality control and publishing
    • User access management
    • Handling confidential documents and content
    • Folder structures and metadata
    • Review and approval workflows
  • Training and communication
  • Migration of documents and content
  • Improvements, changes and configurations in DMS
  • Integrations between DMS and other systems
  • Monitor use of DMS as basis for improvements
  • Support activities to identify opportunities for greater automation
  • Improve and maintain BMS Processes and governing documents within document and content management

Qualifications:

  • Higher education within information management or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience may compensate for the lack of formal education
  • Extended knowledge of document and information management
  • Extended knowledge of document management systems, preferably Documentum D2
  • Relevant experience in managing business and regulatory requirements for document and information management
  • Knowledge of Data and Information Management terminology, preferably formal education/courses within this area
  • Knowledge of E&P company's value chain
  • Knowledge with digitalization and a thrive to find possibilities and see potential for improvement
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English language, written and spoken
