Job Description

The Cloud Infrastructure department is a new team within IT Infrastructure (ITI) in Statkraft. Our main task is to continuously improve how Statkraft utilizes the cloud, and help IT adopt and deliver on the Statkraft cloud strategy.

We are seeking a Cloud Architect who will be highly involved in shaping Statkraft’ s cloud journey moving forward. You will work in a dynamic and self-driven team and be hands-on. You will report to Head of Cloud Infrastructure and your responsibilities will include:

  • Have a holistic view on Statkraft’ s cloud environments
  • Collaborate with the Lead Cloud Architect to ensure cloud adoption follows standard best practices and Statkraft’ s cloud strategy
  • Act as stakeholder for validation of new cloud solutions adhere to architecture roadmaps
  • Create and maintain cloud principles and processes
  • Design and develop modular cloud-based systems
  • Deliver on cloud strategies, aligned with business objectives and with a focus on cloud migrations
  • Drive the continuously improvement on delivery quality and efficiency through automation and standardization
  • Be a technical sparring’s partner and educator on introduction of new cloud technologies and initiatives


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

  • Ten or more years of experience in IT
  • Five or more years of experience related to cloud computing infrastructure and related technologies, as well as understanding of the potential in cloud delivery- and operating models
  • University degree within relevant fields, or relevant work experience
  • Scripting knowledge in Bicep, JSON, PowerShell or similar
  • Certifications related to relevant methodologies and frameworks, and cloud technology is a plus
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
  • Enjoy working hands-on

Skills & experience in the following:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven and adaptable individual to an organization that is under transformation
  • Strong competency on security and compliance towards cloud
