We are hiring a Data Scientist with experience in machine learning
As Unacast grows within the location data industry, we are expanding our product portfolio. Therefore, we are looking for an enthusiastic Data Scientist to join our data team and be a part of modeling data products based on various contexts to provide trustworthy location insights.
The data team is multidisciplinary, with product, data engineering, data science, machine learning, and MLOps coming together in one team on full-cycle data product development. While closely collaborating with various teams and stakeholders within the company, we have the freedom of innovation and experimentation to develop high-quality and privacy-friendly location data insights that can change the location data industry for good. Specifically for the role we are looking for, you will develop ML models that predict visitation to locations by using additional context (e.g., census data, GPS data, transaction data...).
This is an on-site hybrid position (with 2-3 days in the week working in our Oslo office). In case of relocation, Unacast will not handle the Visa application or relocation.
Our main office is in the heart of Oslo, where we meet every week with our international colleagues, both for work and for socializing. Being part of Unacast means being part of a friendly workplace, with care for each other, and opportunities to grow within the company.
