IKM Rada is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer on behalf of our client: Sotra Link Construction JV. You will be responsible for ensuring that the company's operations comply with Norwegian regulatory requirements as well as industry standards and best practices in the construction sector. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining an effective compliance program that provides oversight and guidance to the organization. This is a great opportunity to become a important part of the largest infrastructure contract in the Norwegian history. 


Job description

  • Develop and maintain the compliance program which complies with laws, regulations and industry standards.
  • Ensure that all documentation and policies related to compliance matters are reviewed, updated and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Advise management on emerging risks and regulatory changes that may impact the project.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop compliance monitoring plans to ensure effective oversight of the company's operations.
  • Design and implement effective training programs to educate employees on compliance matters and ensure that they comply with Sotra's policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on compliance activities and metrics to senior management and the Board.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for whistleblowing cases, managing internal investigations and offering recommendations for ongoing improvement based on investigation outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the company`s Partners Compliance Directors to ensure that the project's compliance program is aligned with Partners' best practice.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies on compliance matters.

Qualifications and work experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field of study
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within Compliance field
  • Proficiency in comprehending legal frameworks and regulations pertinent to Compliance, including anti-corruption, anti-fraud, conflict of interest, whistleblowing management, and privacy
  • Proficiency with all common Office programs such as: MS Excel, Word, Outlook 


Personal qualifications

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and have strong time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written).
