Software Developer

Responsibilities:

• Be a key player in keeping Gapits products and services in front by continuously looking

for new technology.

• Develop new functions and fix issues with Gapits libraries and products both open source

and closed source systems.

• Develop automated tests and validation methods to make sure Gapits products keeps as

high quality as possibly

• Participate in the development of Gapits automated internal tools
• Testing and evaluation of new systems and solutions for Gapit
• Hold internal and external training when needed
• Implement best practice security measures in Gapits products and services
• Maintain version control by using GIT for all software and scripts developed
• Log issues and work with open source libraries to fix issues and implement new features

when needed

• Be an advocate for Gapit in software communities
• Develop sufficient documentation for end users
• Work with System Engineers and customers during troubleshooting
• Help project organization during estimation and bid process

Required Competences:

• Knowledge about Docker container technology
• Knowledge about Rust, Javascript, Python
• Genuine interest for software and open source projects
• Participated in open source projects with projects on github
• Technical education or relevant work experience
• Updated knowledge in key competence areas ref above.
• Language skills in Scandinavian and/or English at a relevant level.
